Connections

There is no doubt in my mind you will hear more about PLNs (Professional Learning Networks) in the future. They really are a good thing… ‘try it, try it you will see!’ For more information check out this article I found in Ed Week Journal:  http://www.edweek.org/ew/articles/2011/10/26/09edtech-network.h31.html

But, don’t take my word for it! Check out what others are saying… http://onceateacher.wordpress.com/2009/05/05/pln-your-personal-learning-network-made-easy/

I find utilizing the ‘twitter’ platform is easiest for me. If you don’t like ‘twitter’ try http://edupln.ning.com/ it is a ‘ning’ site devoted to PLN.

I was working toward compiling a list of ‘people to follow’ on twitter when I found that my good friend @edtechninja already had! He has created a Google document that you can upload your own information to so others can find and follow you too! Here is the link:

As you are in this stage of learning and growing I implore you to be an encourager of others. I have learned a so much about others and myself just through these few posts on this blog. I plan to continue blogging through out my teaching career.
